One group calendar instead of schedule messages
The schedule lives in calendar events rather than in the latest chat message. A changed time is updated in one event, while the pinned shortcut continues to open the current calendar.
The same calendar can also be opened in the SotiDo web app. Telegram is an entry point for the group, not a separate copy of the schedule.
Ownership and member access
The Telegram group creator is reserved as the calendar owner during initial setup. Current group administrators receive calendar administration access. Ordinary members can open the calendar, while event creation still follows the roles configured for that calendar.
For collaboration outside Telegram, see the shared calendar for groups, teams, families, and friends.
FAQ
Is the Telegram calendar app free?
Core scheduling and shared planning features are available for free. Some advanced placement and visual options may be paid.
Does opening the Mini App create a group calendar?
No. It opens the ordinary calendar. Group setup starts only after you choose “Add to chat”.
How do I keep the bot in my chat list?
Open the @SotiDoBot profile and tap Start. Telegram does not allow a website link to send that command on your behalf.
Can a Telegram group have a shared calendar?
Yes. SotiDo can create a calendar for the selected group and pin a message with a shortcut that opens it.
Who owns the group calendar?
The Telegram group creator is reserved as the calendar owner, while current group administrators receive administration access during initial setup.
Is the calendar available only in Telegram?
No. Telegram provides a convenient group entry point, and the same calendar remains available through the SotiDo web app.
Can every member create events?
Calendar roles determine who can create or edit events. A member without that permission can ask the owner or an administrator for access.
